McLEAN NAMED MAC HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Junior Kelly McLean (Allentown, PA/Salisbury HS) from the Moravian College women's basketball team was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference Women's Honor Roll for her performance last week.

McLean, a forward, led the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record and a second place finish at the First Annual Moravian New Year's Tip-Off Tournament.  Moravian took second place despite going 2-0 based on the fewest points allowed.  The College of New Jersey allowed 78 points in two games and the Greyhounds gave up 108.  The tournament lost its consolation and championship game format when NC Wesleyan was delayed leaving home due to heavy snow in NC.  Moravian opened with a 77-64 win over Ursinus and McLean scored 17 points in the game on eight of ten field goals and she added seven rebounds.  In the Greyhound's 62-44 victory versus NC Wesleyan, McLean led the squad with 15 points on seven of nine shooting and she had seven rebounds.  McLean, a member of the All-Tournament Team, was 15 of 19 (78.9 percent) from the floor.

Moravian is currently 8-4 on the season and 2-0 in the Commonwealth Conference.
