MORAVIAN MEN'S SOCCER TEAM RANKED 8TH IN REGION

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College men's soccer team fell two spots to eighth place in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings second weekly rankings of the 2002 season released Monday.

The Greyhounds, who were ranked sixth last week, are 3-1-1 on the year after capturing the title of the Kwik Goal/T.G.I. Friday's Classic hosted by Muhlenberg College and a non-conference win over Delaware Valley College, 3-0.  During the tournament, the Greyhounds defeated DeSales University, 3-1, and Muhlenberg, 2-1.  The Bulldogs are ranked fifth in this week's regional poll.

Moravian is one of four Commonwealth Conference teams ranked as Messiah College holds down the top spot.  Elizabethtown College is ranked seventh and Widener University is tied for tenth.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, September 21st when they host Juniata College in a Commonwealth Conference match at 1:00 p.m.
