MORAVIAN'S COLLINS NAMED COMMONWEALTH WOMEN'S SOCCER
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Moravian College freshman forward Megan Collins (Dover, DE/Caesar Rodney HS) has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Collins helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week with goals in a 3-0 victory over Haverford College and a 2-1 overtime win at rival Muhlenberg College.  Collins' first collegiate goal was the second of Moravian's three tallies in the victory over Haverford as she scored on a breakaway just 50 seconds after the Greyhounds had taken a 1-0 lead.  Collins netted the overtime goal in Moravian win at Muhlenberg, three minutes into the first overtime session.

Moravian, currently 3-2 on the season, return to action on Tuesday, September 17th in a home match with Alvernia College beginning at 4:00 p.m.
