MORAVIAN'S COLLINS NAMED COMMONWEALTH WOMEN'S SOCCER
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Moravian College freshman forward Megan Collins (Dover, DE/Caesar
Rodney HS) has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women's Soccer Player of the
Week for her performance last week.
Collins helped the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record last week with goals in a 3-0 victory
over Haverford College and a 2-1 overtime win at rival Muhlenberg College. Collins' first
collegiate goal was the second of Moravian's three tallies in the victory over Haverford
as she scored on a breakaway just 50 seconds after the Greyhounds had taken a 1-0 lead. Collins netted
the overtime goal in Moravian win at Muhlenberg, three minutes into the first overtime
session.
Moravian, currently 3-2 on the season, return to action on Tuesday, September 17th in
a home match with Alvernia College beginning at 4:00 p.m.
