MORAVIAN WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM RECEIVES VOTES NATIONALLY
BETHLEHEM, PA --- One week after falling completely out of the national rankings, the
Moravian College women's cross country team received votes in the third NCAA Division III
Women's Cross Country Poll of the year released Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who have won two of three meets this fall, were ranked 23rd in
the nation in the first poll of the year before dropping out last week. Moravian
received three votes this week and is the last of the four teams receiving votes after
the top 25. The Greyhounds, who have won the Middle Atlantic Conference championship
the last nine years and competed at the NCAA Division III Championships for nine consecutive
years, were not ranked last week for the first time since 1994.
