MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM 8TH IN REGION
MISSION, KS --- For the second time this season, the Moravian College women’s soccer
team is ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Mid-Atlantic
Regional Rankings. The Greyhounds are eighth in the poll released Monday.
Moravian, which has won three straight matches, jumped back into the poll after posting
a 1-0 record last week. The Greyhounds defeated Drew University, 2-1, last week. Moravian,
which was ranked eighth the week of September 23rd, is one of two Commonwealth Conference
schools ranked with Messiah College tied for first.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Tuesday, October 15th when they travel to Elizabethtown
College for a Commonwealth Conference match at 4:00 p.m.
