FEIMSTER NAMED COMMONWEALTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore midfielder Jim Feimster (Stroudsburg,
PA/Pocono Mountain HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has
been named the Commonwealth Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week for his
performance last week.
Feimster helped keep Moravian’s postseason chances
alive as the Greyhounds posted a 2-0 record last week. Feimster netted
the only goal in Moravian’s 1-0 victory at Franklin & Marshall College. The
goal was his third of the season and all three have won matches. Feimster added
an assist on the Greyhounds’ winning goal in the 83rd minute of a 2-1 victory at
Susquehanna University in Commonwealth Conference action. The win got Moravian back to
.500 in conference action and keeps them in the race for one of the four-playoff spots.
The Greyhounds, now 6-5-2 on the year, return to action on Tuesday, October
22nd in a Commonwealth Conference match at Elizabethtown College beginning at 7:00 p.m.
