MORAVIAN VOLLEYBALL RANKED FOURTH IN REGION
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team remained fourth
in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the most recent 2002 NCAA Division III Regional Rankings.
The Greyhounds, who are 18-7 on the season, are behind Juniata College, King’s
College, and Eastern University. Two of Moravian’s six losses this fall are to Eastern
and the Greyhounds have also lost twice to King’s and once to Juniata. The Hounds
are one of two teams in the region to defeat Franklin & Marshall College, the sixth
team in the region, this season.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Wednesday, October 23rd in a Commonwealth Conference
match at Susquehanna University beginning at 7:00 p.m. Moravian can clinch its seventh
straight postseason appearance with a victory at Susquehanna.
