MORAVIAN’S POGUE NAMED TO D3FOOTBALL.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK

BETHLEHEM, PA --- Moravian College junior cornerback Nate Pogue (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) has been named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week for the ninth week of the season after his performance in the Greyhounds’ 28-7 victory over Albright College last Saturday.

Pogue returned an interception, his Middle Atlantic Conference leading sixth of the season, 30 yards for a touchdown to give Moravian a 21-0 halftime lead in the win. Pogue added five tackles with four solo stops and a pass break-up.

Moravian, now 6-2 on the season has a five-game winning streak, it’s longest since a five-game streak in 1997, and the squad has clinched a .500 season, the 13th in head coach Scot Dapp’s 16-year career. Coach Dapp is now within one victory of 100 in his career.

The Greyhounds will return to action in their final MAC game of the season on Saturday, November 9th when the squad travels to Susquehanna University for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff in Selinsgrove, PA.
