CORDANI RANKED IN NCAA WOMEN’S LACROSSE STATS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshman midfielder Jess Cordani (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point
Pleasant Boro HS), of the Moravian College women’s lacrosse team, is tied
for seventh in the nation in caused turnovers in the third NCAA Division III Women’s
Lacrosse statistical rankings of the year released Wednesday. The rankings are for matches
played by April 13th.
Cordani is averaging 3.00 caused turnovers per match and she had 27
caused turnovers in Moravian’s first nine matches of the season. Cordani has
also added seven goals for the Greyhounds this season, and she now has 32 caused turnovers
in ten matches.
The Greyhounds are in their first season as a varsity program and have an overall record
of 0-10. Moravian will return to action on Monday, April 21st in a non-conference match
at Gwynedd Mercy College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
