TOMASZEWSKI NAMED TO COMMONWEALTH BASEBALL
ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore staring pitcher Stephen Tomaszewski (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) of the Moravian College baseball team has been named to the 2003 Commonwealth Baseball All-Conference Second Team announced by the Middle Atlantic Corporation Wednesday.

Moravian posted a 14-15 record this season as the program qualified for the postseason for the first time since the 1992 campaign. The Greyhounds, under the direction of head coach Ed Little, finished in a three-way tie for first place in the Commonwealth Conference regular season with a 12-9 record.

Tomaszewski, who also saw time in the outfield, posted a 5-1 record on the mound in eight starts. He tossed four complete games and had a 4.59 ERA in 51 innings of work. Tomaszewski struck out 38 batters this season while allowing, 58 hits, 32 runs, 26 earned runs and 21 walks. At the plate, Tomaszewski was one-for-three with a double and three RBIs.
