WILL-WEBER NAMED MAC WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY COACH OF THE YEAR
ANNVILLE, PA --- Moravian College’s Mark Will-Weber has been named
the 2002 Middle Atlantic Conference Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year announced
by the conference Monday.
Will-Weber led the Greyhounds to their tenth consecutive MAC title this
fall and a fifth place finish at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional. Moravian had five
runners earn All-Conference accolades this season and three others garner All-Region honors.
Moravian missed the NCAA Championships for the first time since 1992 this fall as a team
but Will-Weber had one individual, sophomore Heather McGarvie
(Medford, NJ/Shawnee HS), qualify for the race. McGarvie finished
69th at the national meet.
