BEITLER NAMED COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore forward Stephanie Beitler (Fogelsville, PA/Northwestern Lehigh HS) of the Moravian College field hockey team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Beitler scored three goals last week to help Moravian post a 2-0 record for the week and earn the first career victory for first-year head coach Amy Endler. Beitler scored a pair of goals in the Greyhounds’ 3-2 victory at Gwynedd-Mercy College, and she added a goal in Moravian’s 3-2 win over FDU-Florham.

Moravian is 2-3 overall this season and returns to action on Wednesday, September 17th in a non-conference match at Haverford College beginning at 4:00 p.m.
