BERRY NAMED MAC COMMONWEALTH PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Senior Marion Berry (Avon, NJ/St. Rose HS) has been named the Middle Atlantic Corporation Commonwealth Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Berry, Moravian’s top singles player and on the Greyhounds’ second doubles team, won a trio of singles matches last week to lead Moravian to its fourth consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference Championship and the team’s seventh title in the last eight years. Berry had wins at first singles in an 8-1 victory versus King’s College, a 7-2 triumph at Drew University in the MAC Semifinals and the 5-4 MAC Championship victory at the University of Scranton.

The Greyhounds are 13-1 overall this fall and play their final dual match of the season on Tuesday, October 14th versus Marywood University at 2:30 p.m.
