GAUN RANKED NATIONALLY IN SAVES
GLEN ALLEN, VA --- Moravian College freshman goalie Amanda Gaun (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham
HS) is tied foir fifth in the nation among NCAA Division III field hockey goalies
in the most recent national statistics released by the National Field Hockey Coaches
Association released Tuesday.
Gaun has made 187 saves in the Greyhounds first 17 matches of the season. Gaun has
a 2.59 goals-against average and two shutouts in her debut season at Moravian, and she
has played all 1,215 minutes for the Greyhounds this fall.
Moravian is 4-13 overall and will close out its 2003 season on Tuesday, October 28th
in a Commonwealth Conference home match with Widener University beginning at 3:30 p.m.
