MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER REMAINS 8TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA

MISSION, KS --- The Moravian College women’s soccer team remained eighth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer Regional Poll released Monday.

The rankings are based on records through November 2nd. The University of Scranton holds down the top spot in the region, and the Royals are ranked fifth in the nation. Messiah College is second in the region and 12th nationally while Montclair State (NJ) University is third in the region and 19th in the nation. The College of New Jersey is ranked fourth in the region and 223rd in the country while Muhlenberg College and Lebanon Valley College are tied for fifth in the region and Lebanon Valley received votes nationally. Rounding out the regional rankings are Gettysburg College in seventh, Moravian, Rutgers University-Camden in ninth and Eastern University in tenth.

The Greyhounds, who have a record of 10-2-4 overall, will play at Lebanon Valley in a Commonwealth Conference Semifinal match on Tuesday, November 4th at 2:30 p.m. Moravian has already tied Lebanon Valley, 0-0. The Greyhounds also tied Muhlenberg, 0-0, and dropped a 3-0 decision to Messiah and a 2-0 match to Scranton. Moravian also has a 0-0 tie with Virginia Wesleyan College, the seventh ranked team in the nation.
