GREYHOUND VOLLEYBALL SQUAD MOVES UP TO 7TH IN MID-ATLANTIC REGION

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s volleyball team has moved up one spot to seventh in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the fourth and final NCAA Division III Regional poll of the year released Wednesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 26-8 overall, have a 19-7 in-region record, which the poll is based on. Juniata College holds down the top spot in the region followed by Eastern University, Gettysburg College, Frostburg State University, Lycoming College, Salisbury University, Moravian and York (PA) College.

The Greyhounds have dropped a 3-1 contest to Salisbury, a 3-0 match to Juniata and 3-0 and 3-2 matches to Eastern. Moravian has defeated Frostburg State and York, 3-0 this fall.

Moravian will play in the 2003 Commonwealth Conference Championship match on Saturday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. at top seeded Juniata College. This will be the eighth straight year the two schools have met for the conference championship.
