GREYHOUNDS’ CHOMIK RANKED NATIONALLY IN KICKOFF RETURNS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Moravian College sophomore defensive back Tyler Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is ranked tenth in the nation in kickoff return average in this week’s NCAA Division III football statistics released Monday.

Chomik, who missed two games earlier this season due to injury, is averaging 30.1 yards per return with a total of 331 yards and a touchdown on 11 returns. Chomik, who leads the Middle Atlantic Conference in kickoff return average, had the second longest kickoff return in Moravian history three weeks ago when he had a 96-yard return for a touchdown in a game against Lycoming College.

Moravian is 3-6 overall and in the MAC this season. The Greyhounds will play their final game of the year on Saturday, November 15th against rival Muhlenberg College at Scotty Wood Stadium in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m.
