MORAVIAN’S STEPHANIE SEAMAN NAMED
COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE OF THE WEEK

ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore forward Stephanie Seaman (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) of the Moravian College women’s basketball team has been named the Commonwealth Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her performance last week.

Seaman netted a career high 24 points and grabbed a career best 12 rebounds in Moravian’s only game last week, a 76-60 loss to nationally ranked DeSales University. Seaman, who led all scorers and rebounders in the game, had 12 points and eight boards in the first half as the Greyhounds only trailed by two points, 34-32 at the break. Seaman shot eight of 14 from the floor and eight of 11 from the foul line in the game while contributing four steals, two blocked shots and an assist in the contest.

Moravian is 1-2 on the season and will return to action on Tuesday, December 2nd when the squad opens its 2003-04 Commonwealth Conference season at Widener University at 7:00 p.m.
