MORAVIAN’S LARSON SELECTED AS MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE
MEN’S LACROSSE COACHES
CO-ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
MADISON, NJ --- Freshman attack Daniel Larson (Dover, DE/Dover HS) of
the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team has been selected as the Middle Atlantic
Conference men’s lacrosse coaches Co-Rookie of the Week announced by the coaches
Wednesday.
Larson, who shared the Rookie of the Week honors with Gil Arbitsman
of Drew University, led Moravian to a 1-1 record last week against NCAA
Division II competition during the Greyhounds’ spring break trip. Larson had
three goals and five ground balls as Moravian suffered its first loss of the season to
Mars Hill (NC) College, 15-10. Larson then led the Greyhounds in scoring
with four goals and two assists in Moravian’s 14-9 victory versus Franklin Pierce
(NH) College.
Moravian is 2-1 overall and in its first season as a varsity program and NCAA Division
III competitor. The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Saturday, March 20th in
their first-ever MAC match versus Lycoming College at 2:00 p.m.
