MORAVIAN COLLEGE MEN’S LACROSSE TEAM AND FRESHMEN CLINT
QUEDENFELD & DANIEL LARSON RANKED IN NCAA STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshmen attacks Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) and Daniel Larson (Dover, DE/Dover HS) of the
Moravian College men’s lacrosse team are ranked among the nation’s leaders
as are the Greyhounds as a team in the first NCAA Division III statistics ranking of
the season released Wednesday.
Quedenfeld leads the country in points per game with an average of 10.5
point per game, and he also leads the nation in assists per game with an average of 7.0
assists per contest. Quedenfeld also has the highest single game point
total (15 points versus the College of Mount St. Vincent on March 3rd) and the highest
single match assist total (10 against Mount St. Vincent) among Division III student-athletes
for matches played through March 14th.
Larson is ranked third goals per game with an average of 5.0, and he
is 17th in the nation in points per game with an average of 5.5 points per contest.
Moravian, which has an overall record of 2-1 in its first season as a varsity program,
is ninth in the nation in scoring average at 16.5 points per game. The Greyhounds are also
ranked 16th in the country in scoring margin, outscoring their opponents by an average
of 5.0 points per game. Moravian scored 23 goals in its first-ever match, a 23-8 victory
versus Mount St. Vincent, which is the second highest single game goal total so far this
season among Division III schools.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 20th in the team’s
first-ever Middle Atlantic Conference match, hosting Elizabethtown College at 2:00 p.m.
at Steel Field.
