FRESHMEN CLINT QUEDENFELD & DANIEL LARSON RANKED
IN NCAA MEN'S LACROSSE STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Freshmen attacks Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) and Daniel Larson (Dover, DE/Dover HS) of the
Moravian College men’s lacrosse team are ranked among the nation’s leaders
in the second NCAA Division III statistics ranking of the season released Wednesday.
Quedenfeld is second in the country in points per game with an average
of 7.0 point per game, and he is third the nation in assists per game with an average of
4.25 assists per contest. Quedenfeld also has the highest single game
point total (15 points versus the College of Mount St. Vincent on March 3rd) and the highest
single match assist total (10 against Mount St. Vincent) among Division III student-athletes
for matches played through March 21st.
Larson is ranked 15th in the nation in goals per game with an average
of 3.5 goals per contest.
Moravian, which has an overall record of 3-2 in its first season as a varsity program,
scored 23 goals in its first-ever match, a 23-8 victory versus Mount St. Vincent, which
is the third highest single game goal total so far this season among Division III schools.
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 27th in the team’s
first-ever Middle Atlantic Conference match, at Lycoming College at 3:00 p.m.
