MORAVIAN SOFTBALL MOVES TO FIRST IN NCAA EAST REGION RANKINGS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team moved up one spot to first in
the East Region in the second NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who are 23-1 overall, were ranked second in last week’s initial
poll. Moravian is 12-0 in regional action, which is the main criteria for the NCAA committee.
Rounding out the regional rankings are College Misericordia, William Paterson (NJ) University,
Ramapo College of New Jersey, University of Rutgers-Camden, Widener University, Gettysburg
College and Bethany (WV) College.
Moravian is currently ranked as the top team in the nation by the National Fastpitch
Coaches Association in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Friday, April 16th in a non-conference doubleheader
at Haverford College beginning at 3:30 p.m.
