MORAVIAN SOFTBALL REMAINS FIRST IN NCAA EAST REGION RANKINGS

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team remained first in the East Region in the third NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.

The Greyhounds, who are 29-1 overall, were ranked second in the initial poll before moving up to last week. Moravian is 18-0 in regional action, which is the main criteria for the NCAA committee. Rounding out the regional rankings are Ramapo College of New Jersey, King's College, College Misericordia, Rowan (NJ) University), Montclair State (NJ) University, McDaniel College and William Paterson (NJ) University.

Moravian is currently ranked as the top team in the nation by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association in the NFCA Division III Top 25 Poll.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Thursday, April 22nd in a non-conference doubleheader versus William Paterson beginning at 3:30 p.m.
