BETHLEHEM, PA --- Senior Joe Moore (Andover, NJ/Newton HS) of the Moravian
College men’s outdoor track & field team will be competing in the 2004 NCAA Division
III Outdoor National Championships hosted by Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois from
Thursday, May 27th until Saturday, May 29th.
Moore is one of 15 competitors in the long jump. Each student-athlete
will compete a preliminary flight with the top nine distances moving onto the finals. The
long jump competition will begin at 2:00 central daylight time of Friday, May 28th.
Moore enters the competition tied for 11th with a leap of 7.06 meters
(23 feet, two inches) at the Jim Tuppeny Twilight Meet hosted by Villanova University on

who was selected as the Moravian College Outstanding Senior Male Athlete for 2004, from
competing at the outdoor championships last spring.
