MORAVIAN’S STEPHANIE SEAMAN AND BRANDON ZALESKI
NAMED TO MAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

ANNVILLE, PA --- Sophomore Stephanie Seaman (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic HS) from the Moravian College women’s basketball team and junior Brandon Zaleski (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown HS) of the Greyhound men’s basketball squad have been named to the Middle Atlantic Corporation Weekly Honor Roll for their performances last week.

Seaman, a forward, led the Greyhounds to a 3-0 record last week including a 2-0 mark in Commonwealth Conference action. Seaman had double-doubles in each game to give her a total of six double-doubles on the season. Seaman began the week with 15 points and ten rebounds in Moravian’s 85-77 victory over rival Muhlenberg College in the team’s final non-conference game of the year. She added 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 76-52 victory at Elizabethtown College. Seaman finished off the week with 15 points, ten rebounds and three steals in a 62-48 win at Susquehanna University. Seaman connected on 45.1 percent (23 of 51) of her field goals, and she added five assists and six steals.

The Moravian women are 13-6 overall and 6-2 in the Commonwealth Conference. The Greyhounds will return to action on Wednesday, February 4th in a Commonwealth contest versus Widener University beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Zaleski, a forward, led Moravian to a 1-1 record last week in Commonwealth Conference action, including the Greyhounds’ first conference win of the season. Zaleski opened the week with 20 points and eight rebounds in a 77-63 loss at Elizabethtown College. He then added his sixth double-double of the season with 15 points and 11 boards in Moravian’s 74-72 victory at Susquehanna University, the preseason favorite in the Commonwealth. Zaleski connected on 51.9 percent (14 of 27) field goals last week, and he was one for three (33.3 percent) behind the three-point line and six of eight (75.0 percent) at the foul line.

The Moravian men are 9-10 overall and 1-7 in the Commonwealth Conference. The Greyhounds will return to action on Wednesday, February 4th in a Commonwealth contest versus Widener University beginning at 8:00 p.m.
