WOMEN’S SOCCER RANKED 6TH IN
MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA
MISSION, KS --- The Moravian
College women’s soccer team has been ranked sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in
the first National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer
Regional Poll of the 2004 season released Monday.
The rankings are based on
records through September 6th. Messiah College holds down the top spot followed by The
College of New Jersey, Muhlenberg College, the University of Scranton and Johns Hopkins
University. All five teams are ranked in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll. Following the
Greyhounds are Haverford College, Mary Washington University, Rowan University and Rutgers-Camden.
Moravian has matches scheduled
with Haverford on September 15th, Messiah on September 25th and Muhlenberg on October
25th.
The Greyhounds, who are 3-0
overall, are scheduled to return to action on Friday, September 10th at the Dickinson
College Tournament versus host Dickinson at 5:00 p.m.
