MORAVIAN WOMEN’S SOCCER MOVES UP TO 5TH IN
MID-ATLANTIC REGION BY NSCAA

The Moravian College women’s soccer team has moved up one spot to fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the second National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III Women’s Soccer Regional Poll of the 2004 season released Tuesday.

The rankings are based on records through September 14th. Messiah College holds down the top spot followed by The College of New Jersey, the University of Scranton and Johns Hopkins University. The top three teams are ranked in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll and Johns Hopkins received votes. Following the Greyhounds are Muhlenberg College, Gettysburg College, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Rutgers-Camden and the University of Mary Washington.

Moravian has matches scheduled with Messiah on September 25th and Muhlenberg on October 25th.

The Greyhounds, who are 4-0-1 overall, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 15th in a non-conference match versus Haverford College at 4:00 p.m. on the HUB Quad.
