MORAVIAN MOVES UP TO 28th IN DON HANSEN’S FOOTBALL GAZETTE TOP 40

WESTMONT, IL --- The Moravian College football team has moved up five spots to 28th in this week’s Don Hansen’s National Weekly Football Gazette Division III Top 40 poll.

The Greyhounds, who are 4-0 overall and 4-0 in the Middle Atlantic Conference, debuted in the poll two weeks at 34th and moved up one spot to 33rd after defeating Lebanon Valley College, 27-20. Moravian then jumped five spots this week after a 21-18 come-from-behind victory in the final minute versus King’s College. The 4-0 start is the best for Moravian since the 1988 season.

Moravian will be looking for its first 5-0 start since the 1940 season on Saturday, October 9th when the Greyhounds travel to Wilkes University for an MAC game at Ralston Field beginning at 1:00 p.m.
