MORAVIAN REMAINS 28th IN DON HANSEN’S FOOTBALL GAZETTE TOP 40

WESTMONT, IL --- The Moravian College football team has remained 28th in this week’s Don Hansen’s National Weekly Football Gazette Division III Top 40 poll.

The Greyhounds, who are 5-0 overall and 5-0 in the Middle Atlantic Conference, debuted in the poll three weeks at 34th and moved up one spot to 33rd after defeating Lebanon Valley College, 27-20. Moravian then jumped five spots last week after a 21-18 come-from-behind victory in the final minute versus King’s College. The Greyhounds remained in 28th place after last Saturday’s 34-27 victory at Wilkes University The 5-0 start is the best for Moravian since the 1940 season.

Moravian will be looking for its first 6-0 start since the 1940 season on Saturday, October 16th when the Greyhounds host FDU-Florham for an MAC game at Steel Field beginning at 1:00 p.m.
