GREYHOUND FOOTBALL TEAM RECEIVES VOTES IN AFCA TOP 25 POLL

WACO, TX --- The Moravian College football team, which has a 7-2 record, received votes in the American Football Coaches Association Division III Coaches’ Top 25 poll again this week.

Moravian has 4 points in the AFCA Poll, which is 21 spots outside the top 25. The AFCA poll has 31 teams receiving votes after the top 25 ranked teams. The Middle Atlantic Conference does have one team ranked with Delaware Valley College, the one MAC school the Greyhounds don’t play this season and the only undefeated team in the conference, ranked 9th this week. Moravian, which began the season with a school record 7-0 start, closes out its 2004 season on Saturday, November 6th when the Greyhounds host rival Muhlenberg College at Steel Field in Bethlehem beginning at 1:00 p.m.
