MORAVIAN SOPHOMORE CLINT QUEDENFELD LEADS NATION IN ASSISTS
PER GAME IN LATEST NCAA MEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore attack Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) of the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team leads the nation
in assists per game and is ranked in the top five in points per game in the fourth NCAA
Division III statistics ranking of the season released Tuesday.
Quedenfeld is first in the country in assists per game with an average
of 4.70 assists per game, and he is third in the nation in points per game with an average
of 5.60 points per contest. Quedenfeld also has the highest single game
point total (14 points versus Clark (MA) University on March 9th) and the highest single
match assist total (13 against Clark) among Division III student-athletes for matches played
through April 10th. Quedenfeld also has the second and third highest single
match assist totals this season with ten at Neumann College on April 6th and eight at Alvernia
College on March 22nd. Sophomore attack Nick Cacciutti (Media, PA/The Haverford
School) has the highest single match goal total (10 against Clark) and is tied
for second in single game point total (11 versus Clark).
Moravian has an overall record of 3-8 in its second season as a varsity program, and
the Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 14th in a non-conference
match versus York (PA) College at Moravian Academy's North Campus beginning at 4:00 p.m.
