JUNIOR MEAGAN HENNESSY & MORAVIAN SOFTBALL SQUAD RANKED IN SECOND NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team is ranked nationally in four statistical categories and Junior pitcher Meagan Hennessy (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Township HS) is ranked in three categories in the second NCAA Division III statistics ranking of the season released Tuesday.

Hennessy is tied for third in victories with 20, tenth in earned run average at 0.49 and 23rd in strikeouts per seven innings with an average of 8.4.

Moravian is second in the country in fielding percentage at .977, fourth in earned run average at 0.66, sixth in won-loss percentage at .897 and 28th in batting average at .331.

The Greyhounds, who are 27-4 overall and ranked ninth in the nation in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll, are slated to return to action on Thursday, April 21st in a non-conference doubleheader at #23-ranked William Paterson (NJ) University beginning at 3:00 p.m.
