GREYHOUNDS RANKED 2ND IN SECOND NCAA REGIONAL POLL OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team remained second in the East Region
in the second NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 20-1, which is what the poll is mainly
based one, were just behind the University of Rutgers-Camden in the region. Rounding out
the top eight were Bethany (WV) College, King’s College, Rowan University, Gettysburg
College, Ursinus College and Lebanon Valley College.
The Greyhounds, who are 27-4 overall and ranked ninth in the nation in the latest National
Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Poll, are slated to return to action
on Thursday, April 21st in a non-conference doubleheader at William Paterson (NJ) University
in Wayne, New Jersey beginning at 3:00 p.m.
