GREYHOUNDS RANKED 2ND IN THIRD NCAA REGIONAL POLL OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team remained second in the East Region
in the third NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 21-4, which is what the poll is mainly
based one, were just behind the University of Rutgers-Camden in the region. Rounding out
the top eight were Bethany (WV) College, King’s College, Montclair State University,
William Paterson University, Lebanon Valley College and Rowan University.
The Greyhounds, who are 29-6 overall, are slated to return to action on Saturday, April
30th in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader versus Widener University in Bethlehem beginning
at 1:00 p.m. to finish the 2005 regular season.
