GREYHOUNDS FALL TO THIRD IN FOURTH NCAA REGIONAL POLL OF 2005
SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team dropped to third in the East
Region in the fourth NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 25-4, which is what the poll is mainly
based one, are behind the University of Rutgers-Camden and Bethany (WV) College in the
region. Rounding out the top eight were King’s College, College MIsericordia, Rowan
University, La Roche College and Ursinus College
Moravian. which is 31-6 overall, is slated to return to action of Friday, May 6th as
the top seed in the 2005 Commonwealth Conference Tournament at Susquehanna University in
Selinsgrove. Moravian will play fourth-seeded Albright College at 11:00 a.m. in the first
game of the tournament.
