TWO MORAVIAN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYERS RANKED IN FIRST
NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Two different players from the Moravian College women’s basketball
team are ranked in the first NCAA III Division women’s basketball statistical ranking
released Wednesday. The statistics include games through January 2nd.
Senior guard Jen Behagg (Hamburg, NJ/Pope John XXIII HS) is 19th in
the nation in assists per game with an average of 5.6 while sophomore forward Jenny
Hackleman (Solvang, CA/Rutgers Prep {NJ} HS) is 41st in the country with 2.1 blocked
shots per game.
The Greyhounds are 8-2 on the season and will return to action on Friday, January 7th
when the team hosts the 4th Annual Starters Moravian Winter Classic with the Greyhounds
playing Rosemont College at 8:00 p.m. and Buffalo State College and Kean University of
New Jersey facing off at 6:00 p.m.
