GREYHOUNDS RECEIVE VOTES IN USA TODAY/ESPN/WBCA DIVISION III
TOP 25 COACHES POLL

LILBURN, GA --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has received votes in this week’s USA Today/ESPN/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Coaches poll released late Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 16-2 overall and 7-0 in Commonwealth Conference action, received nine votes this week, which is tied for third of the 11 teams that received a vote outside of the Top 25. Moravian received three points last week after receiving one point the week before.

Moravian has played several top 25 teams this season, falling to #2 University of Scranton, 77-58, and #21 DeSales University, 82-73, in overtime. The Greyhounds did defeat McDaniel College, which received five points, 66-51 Moravian still has two games to play this season with #5 Messiah College, February 12th in Bethlehem and February 17th in Grantham.

The Greyhounds, who have won ten straight games, will return to action on Wednesday, February 2nd in a Commonwealth Conference game at Widener University tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Chester.
