GREYHOUND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL RANKED 25TH IN USA TODAY/ESPN/WBCA DIVISION III TOP 25 COACHES POLL

LILBURN, GA --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has moved into 25th place in this week’s USA Today/ESPN/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 Coaches poll released Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 19-3 overall and 10-1 in Commonwealth Conference action, received 12 points this week. Moravian received one point last week, nine points two weeks ago after receiving three points the week before and one point a month ago. This is the first time since the 1993-94 season that Moravian has been nationally ranked.

Moravian has played several top 25 teams this season, falling to #1 University of Scranton, 77-58. The Greyhounds did #11 Messiah College, 71-64, and the two schools will play again on February 17th in Grantham.

The Greyhounds will return to action on Tuesday, February 15th in a Commonwealth Conference game at Albright College tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Reading.
