MORAVIAN’S JEN BEHAGG & WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM RANKED IN 7TH
NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has one player ranked in the seventh NCAA III Division women’s basketball statistical ranking released Wednesday while the Greyhounds are ranked in four team categories. The statistics include games through February 13th.

Senior guard Jen Behagg (Hamburg, NJ/Pope John XXIII HS) is 23rd in the nation in assists per game with an average of 5.2. The Greyhounds are 18th in the nation in scoring average at 74.0 points per game, tied for 23rd in the country in won-lost percentage at 86.4 percent, sixth in the nation in free throw percentage at 74.3 percent and 50th in the country in rebounding margin at +6.2 per game.

The Greyhounds, who are ranked 23rd in this week’s D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and 25th in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Top 25 Poll, are 20-3 overall and 11-1 in Commonwealth Conference play. Moravian will return to action on Thursday, February 17th in a Commonwealth Conference game at Messiah College tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Grantham. This is a make-up game from one that was postponed by snow on January 22nd.
