GREYHOUND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL MOVE UP TO FOURTH IN THIRD
NCAA
DIVISION III REGIONAL RANKING OF 2004-05 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has moved up
to fourth in the Mid-Atlantic Region in the third NCAA Division III Regional Rankings released
Wednesday.
The Greyhounds, who are 20-3 overall and 11-1 in Commonwealth Conference action, were
18-3 in regional action as of February 13th, the main basis for the rankings. Moravian
has played several regionally ranked teams this season, falling to #1 University of Scranton,
77-58. The Greyhounds did defeat #6 McDaniel College, 66-51, and #5 Messiah College, 71-64.
Moravian and Messiah will play again on February 17th in Grantham.

The Greyhounds, who are ranked 23rd in this week’s D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and
25th in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Top 25 Poll, are 20-3 overall and 11-1 in Commonwealth
Conference play. Moravian will return to action on Thursday, February 17th in a Commonwealth
Conference game at Messiah College tipping off at 6:00 p.m. in Grantham. This is a make-up
game from one that was postponed by snow on January 22nd.
