MORAVIAN’S JEN BEHAGG & WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM RANKED IN 8TH NCAA STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College women’s basketball team has one player ranked in the eighth NCAA III Division women’s basketball statistical ranking released Wednesday while the Greyhounds are ranked in three team categories. The statistics include games through February 20th.

Senior guard Jen Behagg (Hamburg, NJ/Pope John XXIII HS) is tied 32nd in the nation in assists per game with an average of 5.1. The Greyhounds are 31st in the nation in scoring average at 72.7 points per game, tied for 24th in the country in won-lost percentage at 84.0 percent and eighth in the nation in free throw percentage at 74.1 percent.

The Greyhounds, who were ranked 23rd in last week’s D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and 25th in the USA Today/ESPN/WBCA Top 25 Poll, are 21-4 overall and 12-2 in Commonwealth Conference play. Moravian will return to action on Wednesday, February 23rd in a Commonwealth Conference Semifinal game versus Widener University tipping off at 7:00 p.m. in Bethlehem.
