MORAVIAN SOPHOMORES QUEDENFELD & CACCIUTTI RANKED IN NCAA
MEN’S LACROSSE STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Sophomore attacks Clint Quedenfeld (Chalfont, PA/Central
Bucks West HS) and Nick Cacciutti (Media, PA/The Haverford School) of
the Moravian College men’s lacrosse team are ranked among the nation’s leaders
in the second NCAA Division III statistics ranking of the season released Wednesday.
Quedenfeld leads the country in assists per game with an average of
4.83 assists per game, and he is tied for sixth in the nation in points per game with an
average of 5.22 points per contest. Cacciutti is tied for 17th in the
nation in goals per game with an average of 3.33 goals per game.
Quedenfeld also has the highest single game point total (14 points versus
Clark (MA) University on March 9th) and the highest single match assist total (13 against
Clark) among Division III student-athletes for matches played through March 27th. Cacciutti has
the highest single match goal total (10 against Clark) and is tied for second in single
game point total (11 versus Clark).
Moravian has an overall record of 2-5 in its second season as a varsity program, and
the Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 2nd in a Middle Atlantic
Conference match at Susquehanna University beginning at 5:00 p.m.
