MORAVIAN’S LOUIS DOLLARTION NAMED COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE
MEN’S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman forward Louis Dollarton (Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights
HS) of the Moravian College men’s soccer team has been named the Commonwealth
Conference Player of the Week for his performance last week.
Dollarton had an excellent first week for the Greyhounds, scoring five
goals with two game winning-goals in a 2-1 week for the Greyhounds. Dollarton scored
the first goal of the season for Moravian in a 7-0 victory over Lincoln University before
tallying the Greyhounds’ lone goal in a 2-1, overtime loss to Drew University at
the Drew Fall Festival. Dollarton scored his first career hat trick for
Moravian with three goals in a 6-3 win over Centenary (NJ) College in the consolation match
at the Drew Fall Festival. For the week, Dollarton scored his five goals
on just 12 shots, a .417 shooting percentage.
Moravian, which is 2-1 on the season, is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday,
September 7th in a non-conference match at Swarthmore College beginning at 8:00 p.m.
