FOUR GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN THIRD NCAA FOOTBALL STATISTICS
RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Four different players from the Moravian College football team are
ranked in four categories in the third NCAA III Division football statistical ranking released
Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in three team categories in the statistics through
games of September 24th.
Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS) is
ranked 22nd in the nation in rushing with an average of 128.3 yards per game. Senior linebacker Chad
DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is tied for 28th in tackles for loss with
2.3 per game and tied for 38th in sacks per game at 1.0. Senior defensive back Tyler
Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) and junior defensive back Israel
Aguila (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom HS) are tied for 14th in the nation in passes defended
with an average of 2.0.
As a team, Moravian is 39th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 218.0
yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 31st in the country in pass efficiency defense with
a 91.2 rating and 21st in kickoff returns at 25.09 yards per return.
The Greyhounds are 3-1 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian
is scheduled to travel to Widener University in an MAC contest at Leslie C. Quick Stadium
on Saturday, October 1st at 1:00 p.m.
