MORAVIAN’S BRIAN RECKENBEIL NAMED MIDDLE ATLANTIC CONFERENCE
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ANNVILLE, PA --- Freshman kicker Brian Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville
HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named the Middle Atlantic
Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the Greyhounds’ 41-17
victory over FDU-Florham Saturday afternoon.
Reckenbeil connected on all five of his extra-point attempts and added
two field goals for a total of 11 points in Moravian’s 41-17 victory at FDU-Florham. Reckenbeil’s five-for-five
performance on extra-points kept him perfect on the season at 17-of-17 after taking over
the kicking duties at King’s in the Greyhounds’ third game of the season. He
also added field goals of 29 and 25 yards to improve to four-of-six on field goals this
fall.
The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 22nd in an MAC
game versus Wilkes University kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field. The game is
Moravian’s annual Homecoming contest.
