THREE GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN SIXTH NCAA FOOTBALL STATISTICS
RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Three different players from the Moravian College football team
are ranked in four categories in the sixth NCAA III Division football statistical ranking
released Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in two team categories in the statistics
through games of October 15th.
Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS) is
20th in the nation in rushing with an average of 130.7 yards per game, and Jacoubs is tied
for 38th in scoring at 9.0 points per game. Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen
Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is tied for 42nd in tackles for loss with 1.7 per game
and tied for second in forced fumbles at 0.67 per contest. Freshman linebacker Andrew
Morrissey (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus HS) is tied for 45th in forced fumbles.
As a team, Moravian is 27th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 225.0
yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 41st in kickoff returns at 21.65 yards per return.
The Greyhounds are 4-2 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian
is scheduled to return to action at Rocco Calvo Field on Saturday, October 22nd in an MAC
game versus Wilkes University kicking off at 1:00 p.m. This is Moravian’s annual
Homecoming game.
