FOUR GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN EIGHTH NCAA FOOTBALL STATISTICS
RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Four different players from the Moravian College football team are
ranked in four categories in the eighth NCAA III Division football statistical ranking
released Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in three team categories in the statistics
through games of October 29th.
Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is second
in the country in forced fumbles at 0.63 per contest while freshman kicker Brian
Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for 31st in field goals per
game at 0.9. Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional
HS) is 38th in the nation in rushing with an average of 108.1 yards per game.
Senior cornerback Tyler Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is
tied for 47th in passes defended at 1.4 per game.
As a team, Moravian is 46th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 198.1
yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 31st in kickoff returns at 21.93 yards per return
and 29th in net punting at 33.6 yards per punt.
The Greyhounds are 4-4 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian
is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, November 5th in their final MAC game of the
season versus Lebanon Valley College kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
