FOUR GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN NINTH NCAA FOOTBALL
STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Four different players from the Moravian College football team are
ranked in four categories in the ninth NCAA III Division football statistical ranking released
Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in three team categories in the statistics through
games of November 5th.
Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is tied
for second in the country in forced fumbles at 0.56 per contest while freshman kicker Brian
Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for 26th in field goals per
game at 0.9. Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional
HS) is 42nd in the nation in rushing with an average of 108.1 yards per game.
Senior cornerback Tyler Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is
16th in kickoff returns at 27.4 yards per return.
As a team, Moravian is 34th in the country in rushing offense with an average of 210.0
yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 35th in kickoff returns at 21.68 yards per return
and 29th in net punting at 33.44 yards per punt.
The Greyhounds are 5-4 overall this season and in the Middle Atlantic Conference. Moravian
is scheduled to close out its 2005 season on Saturday, November 12th in a non-conference
game at rival Muhlenberg College kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Scotty Wood Stadium in Allentown.
