FOUR GREYHOUNDS & TEAM RANKED IN TENTH NCAA FOOTBALL
STATISTICS RELEASE OF 2005 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- Four different players from the Moravian College football team are
ranked in four categories in the tenth NCAA III Division football statistical ranking released
Tuesday. The Greyhounds are also listed in three team categories in the statistics through
games of November 12th.
Senior linebacker Chad DiFelice (Pen Argyl, PA/Pen Argyl HS) is tied
for second in the country in forced fumbles at 0.50 per contest while freshman kicker Brian
Reckenbeil (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville HS) is tied for 25th in field goals per
game at 0.9. Junior tailback Chris Jacoubs (Fair Haven, NJ/Rumson-Fair Haven Regional
HS) is 42nd in the nation in rushing with an average of 106.0 yards per game.
Senior cornerback Tyler Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) is
16th in kickoff returns at 26.7 yards per return.
As a team, Moravian is 33rd in the country in rushing offense with an average of 208.3
yards per game, and the Greyhounds are 43rd in kickoff returns at 20.95 yards per return
and 44th in net punting at 32.39 yards per punt.
The Greyhounds are 6-4 overall this season and 5-4 in the Middle Atlantic Conference.
Moravian will close out its 2005 season in the Eastern College Athletic Conference Southwest
Bowl game at Frostburg State (MD) University, on Saturday, November 19th at 12:00 p.m.
