GREYHOUNDS DROP TO 8TH IN SECOND NCAA REGIONAL
POLL OF 2006 SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS, IN --- The Moravian College softball team dropped
to eighth in the East Region in the second NCAA Division III Regional
Rankings released Thursday.
The Greyhounds, who have an in-region record of 20-5, which is
what the poll is mainly based one, were second in the region last
week in the first poll. Rounding out the top eight were Rutgers
University-Camden, Rowan University, King’s College, the University
of Pittsburgh-Bradford, Ramapo College, Arcadia University and Ursinus
College.
The Greyhounds, who are 26-6 overall, are slated to return to
action on Thursday, April 27th in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader
at Albright College in Reading beginning at 3:00 p.m.
